Low, much-branched shrub: lvs. oval to obovate-oblong, usually cuneate at base and very short-petioled, serrate or crenately serrate, obtuse, glabrous or slightly pubescent on the veins beneath, 3/4 – 1 1/2 in. long: corymb usually glabrous, 1-2 in. across. June, July.
