Hydrocotyle vulgaris, Linn., offered abroad: creeping or floating, rooting at the nodes: lvs. orbicular, 1 in. or less across, crenate or slightly lobed, centrally attached, the petioles surpassing the peduncles: fls. minute, white, in 2 or 3 whorls or in a single umbel: marshes and bogs, and edges of ponds.
