Krigia dandelion, Nutt. Height 6-18 in., glabrous and bluish green: lvs. lanceolate or almost linear, varying from minutely toothed to pinnatifid: head about 1 in. diam., solitary, the rays yellow. April-June. Moist ground, Md. to Fla. and Texas.—The only kind that has tubers.
