Jatropha multifida, linn. coral plant. Physic Nut. Shrub, 6-15 ft. high: lvs. deeply palmately 7-11-parted, glabrous, glaucous below, the lobes narrow, 4-7 in. long, pinnately incised to entire; stipules about ½ in. long; petiole not glandular: fls. scarlet. Texas to Brazil.
