Geranium malvaeflorum, links. A usually 1-stemmed perennial, from a thickened tuber, not over 18 in. tall: lvs. long-petioled, 5-9-parted, the lobes finely dissected, hairy: fls. showy, the pedicels and peduncles densely hairy; sepals ovate- oblong, hairy; petals rose-purple, obcordate, the apex often emarginate. about twice as long as the sepals. Medit. Region. — Very doubtfully hardy north of Philadelphia.
