Primula polyneura, Franch. Lvs. petiolate, 1-2 1/2in. long, broadly deltoid or suborbicular, about 11-lobed, the lobes broadly ovate and dentate or crenate, the petiole very long: scape 4-16 in. tall, much overtopping the lvs., pubescent, the umbel solitary or 2 or 3 superposed: bracts lanceolate, shorter than the villose pedicels: fls. purplish or violet(?); calyx ribbed, long-tubular, pilose, the lobes lanceolate-acute; corolla-tube cylindrical, twice exceeding the calyx, the limb about 1/2in. across, lobes bifid. Cent. China.—P. Vèitchii and P.lichiangensis may be minor forms of this.
