Primula scotica, Hook. The form in the extreme north of Scotland, on sandy heaths: half as large as P. farinosa: lvs. obovate-lanceolate: fls. bluish purple with yellow center; calyx swollen, the teeth short- ovate and blunt; corolla-limb flat, the lobes broadly obcordate and about half the length of the tube: caps, scarcely exceeding the calyx.
