Callistemon cunninghamii, Koch. Listed in Calif.: "Lvs. extremely narrow. Growth low and compact." Botanically described as follows: Lvs. elliptical, wide-spreading, pale green, pellucid or sometimes roughish, marginal nerves and veins rather prominent, young lvs. reddish, somewhat silky: stamens scarcely 3 times longer than the petals.
