Rehmannia Henryi, N. E. Br. (R. Piasezkii. Hemsl., not Maxim.). Perennial herb, 6-18 in. high, glandular-hairy: lowest lvs. 3-7 in. long, elliptic-oblong, obtuse, base narrowed to the petiole, crenately toothed, or more or less pin- ately lobed and obtusely dentate: fls. axillary; calyx ascending, never nodding, campanulate, lobes spreading, deltoid or deltoid-ovate, obtuse; corolla-tube l 3/4-2 in. long, pubescent outside, dirty yellow spotted red, limb oblique, 2-lipped, white and pubescent, yellow, red-dotted at the throat, upper lip 2-lobed, lower 3- lobed, all the lobes rounded; ovary ovoid, glabrous.
