Rhipsalis saglionis, Otto (R. brachiaia, Hook. Hariota Saglionis,Lem.). Fig. 3377. Reaching a height of 2 ft., richly branched: long or cereiform branches 1/3-l ft. long; secondary or fruiting branches oblong-elliptic or short-cylindric, rounded at the ends, spirally or rarely verticillately arranged, sometimes weakly grooved, not more than 1/2in. long: areoles with very scanty wool and 2-4 short bristles, which on the end branches project as a little brush: fls. near the tops of the short branches, flat, 2/3in. diam., with 12 white lvs. with yellowish midstripe: berry white. Uruguay and Argentina. B.M.
