Mimosa acanthocarpa, Poir. (Acacia acanthocarpa, Willd. A. brachyacantha, Humb. & Bonpl.). Bush or small tree: pinna; 12-14, with 6-15 pairs of oblong-pubescent Ifts.: stipular spines 2: fls. in heads on twin axillary peduncles: pod falcate, spiny. Mex.
