Anaphalis (Greek name of a similar plant). Compositae. Everlasting. Hardy border plant; useful for immortelles. A genus of 30 species, much like Antennaria, but differs in the pappus-bristles of the staminate fls. not being thickened (these are thickened upwards in that genus) and the st. leafy.
