Bush-fruits. A term used to designate those small-fruits that grow on woody bushes. It includes all small-fruits—as that term is used in America—excepting strawberries and cranberries. Bush-fruits is an English term, but it has been adopted in this country, notably in Card's book on "Bush-Fruits." The common bush-fruits are currants, gooseberries, raspberries, blackberries, and dewberries. The above text is from the Standard Cyclopedia of Horticulture.
