Coelia (Greek, koilos, hollow: referring to the pollen masses). Orchidaceae. Epiphytic orchids of minor importance; culture of Epidendrum. The coelias are divided into 2 strongly marked groups with widely different kinds of infl. Coelia is a genus of orchids (family Orchidaceae).
The genus Bothriochilus, established by Lemaire in 1856, however listed exactly the same species as Coelia. Because of Lemaire's later publication date however, Bothriochilus is now considered a synonym genus. Bold text
