Eu., N. Asia. G. 26:401 (var. rosea).— Common in old gardens and also naturalized in parts of the eastern country. The double form (red or white) is prized for its close-packed fimbriate fls. An old-time and deserving favorite, blooming profusely and for most of the season. Hardy.
