Branches1-1 1/2 ft., prostrate: lvs. usually longer than in M. coridifolium, more linear and more acute: fls. as large as those of Arabis alpina, rose-colored, in slender, elongated racemes; petals 4 times as long as the sepals. Persia. Useful in the rock-garden. CH
