Cotoneaster pannosa, Franch. Half-evergreen shrub, to 6 ft.: lvs. elliptic- to ovate-oblong, mucronate at the apex, glabrous above, densely grayish white-tomentose beneath: calyx tomentose: fr. red, globose-ovoid, ⅓ in. long with 2 stones.
