Courantia (personal name). Crassidaceae. Caulescent: lvs. alternate, closely set, broad: fls. in a dense bracteate spike; calyx-lobes nearly equal, linear, brightly colored; corolla not angled, yellow; stamens 10; filaments united into a tube for half their length.
