Pittosporum angustifolium (Pittosporum phillyraeoides, DC). Narrow-leaved Pittos- Porum. Glabrous tree, to 20 ft. or more, with pendent twigs: lvs. 2-3 1/2in. long, about 1/4in. wide, entire; tips slender, recurved: fls. yellow, under 1/2in. long, pedicelled in the lf-axils: fr. about 1/2in. long, oval, compressed, yellow, granular. Australian deserts. Maiden, For. Fl. N. S. W. 4. — Remarkable tree, resembling weeping willow but evergreen and suited to dry regions: root-suckers abundant. CH
