Dedrobium Pierardii, Roxbg. (D. cucullatum, R. Br.). Pseudobulbs up to 3 ft. long, slender, pendulous: fls. commonly in pairs, up to 2 in. across; sepals and petals pale rosy mauve, acute, the sepals lanceolate, much narrower than the elliptic-oblong petals; lip obscurely 3-lobed, pale primrose-yellow, pubescent on the upper surface, purple-streaked at base.
