Pleione praecox, D. Don (P. Wallichiana, Lindl. & Paxt.). Fig. 3067. Pseudobulbs flask- shaped, depressed, dull green, warted and covered with a network of the old split sheaths: lvs. broadly lanceolate, plicate: fls. large, on short peduncles; sepals long, lanceolate, spreading, pink; petals similar but narrower; labellum trumpet-shaped, indistinctly lobed, pink, white and yellow in the throat; disk with longitudinal fringed lamellae, margin dentate-fimbriate.
