Primula sikkimensis, Hook. Glabrous and devoid of farina, the calyx excepted, the scape reaching 2 ft.: lvs. 4-5 x 1-1 1/2 in., narrowly obovate-spatulate, obtuse, wrinkled, sharply double-serrate, subequally narrowed to the petiole: scape elongated, 8-14 in. high, bearing a many-fld. umbel: bracts narrow, subulate-acuminate from a broad base: fls. slightly drooping, yellow; calyx farinose, 5-ribbed, tubular-campanulate, not split to the middle, with triangular acute frequently recurved lobes; corolla-tube funnelform-broadened, the limb concave, flattened up to 1 in. across, with roundish emarginate lobes: caps. subcylindrical, exceeding the calyx.
