Eucalyptus incrassata, Labill. Shrub or small tree, to 25 ft.: Lvs. lanceolate or ovate-lanceolate, rather obtuse, mostly 2-4 in. long; veins inconspicuous: calyx-tube ribbed in the common forms; lid thick, hemispheric or short-conic, often abruptly beaked; stamens all inflected in the bud; anthers ovate-oblong, opening by parallel slits: fr. ovoid-cylindric, about ¾ in. across; valves often slightly exserted. F.v.M. Eucal. 5:6. Maiden, Crit. Rev. Eucal. 13, 15. — Australian deserts: one of the "mallee." CH
