Eupatorium riparium, Regel. Fig. 1434. Diffuse, becoming woody at base, 2 ft., the sts. slender, puberulent and usually reddish: Lvs. opposite, long-lance-shaped, taper- pointed and at base narrowed to a long petiole, prominently 3-ribbed, toothed: heads in rather compact long-stalked clusters. Mex. Gt. 15:525. Gn. 40, p. 134.-Good winter bloomer. Best for florists. Readily cult, in coldhouse.
