Euptelea polyandra, Sieb. & Zucc. Figs. 1450, 1451. Shrub or small tree, to 20 ft.: Lvs. long-petioled, usually roundish ovate, cuspidate, coarsely and irregularly dentate, below pale green and slightly pubescent on the veins, 2-4 in. long: carpels usually 1-seeded, ⅓ in. long.
