Gymnopetalum cochinchinense,Kurz (Scoianthus tubiflorus, Naudin). Musk-scented: st. much-branched, slender, grooved, creeping or climbing, 5-7 ½ ft. long: tendrils filiform, elongated, simple: lvs. about 1 ½ - 2 ½ in. long, 1-2 in. wide: fls. monoecious, white; calyx-teeth long linear- awl-shaped; calyx shortly villous, not tomentose: lvs. ovate, angled or slightly lobed: fr. bright red, ovoid, 10-ribbed, rather acute at the base, produced at the apex into a long point which withers and remains, 2 in. long, more than 1 in. thick.
