Nepenthes hybrida, Mast. (N. khasiana x N. gracilis?). Lvs. amplexicaul, decurrent, semi-petiolate elongate- lanceolate: pitchers 3-5 x ¾-l in., cylindric, slightly constricted in middle, green or somewhat purple- spotted (var. maculata); wings shallow ciliate. G.C. 1872:542, desc. J.H.S. 21:1897:238.—A hardy freely pitchering though rather unattractive type that usually catches abundant insect prey in greenhouses. Raised by Dominy about 1863, and sent out by Veitch in 1866.
