Oxalis variabilis, Jacq. (O. grandiflora, Jacq. O. laxula, Jacq. O. purpurea laxula, Hort. O. rigidula, Jacq. O. sugglata, Jacq. O. variabilis albiflora, Lindl.). Hairy: Lvs. petioled, rather fleshy, often purplish: fls. large, white or shaded with rose, yellow at base. Ca: B.M. 1683. B, R. 1505.—A form with deep rosy is var. rubra, Jacq. (O. purpurea, Jacq. O. spec….., Jacq. O. venusta, Lowe). B.M. 1712. A white form, var. alba, Hort., is grown.
