Claucena (a personal name). Rutaceae. Small inermous trees: lvs. pinnate: fls. in terminal panicles or loose racemes; ovary raised on a short disk, 4—5-celIed, with 1-2 ovules in each cell; style short, deciduous; stamens 8-10: fr. 4-5-celled, with usually 1 seed in each cell; cotyledons aerial in germination, first foliage- lvs. opposite or alternate.
