Clerodendron infortunatum, Gaertn. (C. viscosum, Vent.). Height 5-7 ft., pubescent, with square branches: Lvs. opposite and stalked, cordate-ovate, acuminate, entire or toothed, hairy: fls. in a loose villous terminal panicle, white, with a flesh-colored center, flaring, the tube projecting beyond the loose, hairy, large, 5-angled calyx. E. Indies. B.M. 1805.— Fls. sweet-scented. Greenhouse. CH
