Cymbidium Finlaysonianum, Lindl. (C. pendulum, Lindl.). Lvs. ensiform: raceme many-fld.; sepals and petals linear-oblong, obtuse, dull yellow, sometimes with a reddish median line; lateral lobes of lip crimson; midlobe white, tipped with crimson. Malaysia. Var. atropurpureum, Hort. Lvs. narrower, racemes longer, with larger fls.: sepals and petals purplish, front lobe of lip white, spotted with purple.
