Nymphoides lacunosum, Kuntze (Limnanthemum lacunosum, Griseb. Villarsia lacunosa, Vent.). Sts. sometimes 10 ft. long: Lvs. orbicular-cordate, purplish beneath, 1-2 in. long: fls. 3-6 lines across; segms. ovate, acute: seeds smooth. July, Aug. Ponds, Nova Scotia to Fla. and La., west to Minn.
