Odontosoria (Greek, toothed leaf, alluding to the fact that the sori are on slender segms. of the leaf). Polypodiaceae. A group of tropical ferns formerly included with Davallia; characterized by the decompound Lvs. with cuneate ultimate segms. and the compressed suborbicular or cup-shaped indusium which is attached at its sides and open only at the top.
