Oncidium crispum, Lodd. Pseudobulbs oblong, sulcate, rough and usually dark brown: Lvs. leathery, lanceolate, about 9 in. long: fl.-st. 1-1½ ft. high, arched, bearing 20-50 large fls. 1½-3 in. across: fls. shining brown, with few yellow and red marks at the bases of the segms.; sepals obovate, obtuse, recurved and undulate, the lateral ones united; petals twice as large, broadly obovate, obtuse, much waved and crisped; middle lobe of the labellum large, rotund-cordate, waved and crisped; lateral lobes small, horn-like. Fls. at various seasons. Brazil. B.M. 3499. B.R. 1920. L.B.C. 19:1854. F.S. 21:2147,2148. F.C. 2:64. B. 1:26. O. 1912, p. 18; 1913, p. 74. Var. grandiflorum, Hort.
