Pimelea hypericina, A. Cunn. St. erect, slender, to 8 or 10 ft. high: branches not very leafy: lvs. opposite, elliptic-oblong, smooth: fls. white, hermaphrodite and female on distinct plants, very hairy externally; hermaphrodite fls. longer and more slender: heads many- fid, and crowded.—Very similar to P. ligustrina, in fact placed as a variety of it in Flora Australieusis; distinguished in having more involucral lvs. much shorter than the fls. and silky pubescent or hoary.
