Rhipsalis paradoxa, Salm-Dyck. Sparingly branched, 1-2 ft. long; branchlets 1-2 in. long and 1/2-1 in. diam., twisted at the joints, so that the angles alternate with the sides: fls. 2/3in. long, white. Brazil.
