Yucca elephantipes, Regel (Y. guatemalensis, Baker. Y. Lenneana, Baker. Y. Mooreana, Y. Ghiesbreghtii, and Y. Roezlii, Hort. Dracaena Lenneana, D. Lennei, D. Ehrenbergii, D. Fintelmanni, and D. yuccoides, Hort.). Becoming a rather large tree with swollen base: lvs. not pungent, 2-3 in. wide: fr. yellow. S. E. Mex. — Y. gigantea, Lem., planted in the Azores and around the Medit., is scarcely different.
