Zephyranthes lindleyana, Herb. Rare summer-blooming rose-colored species from the mountains of Mex., inferior to Z. carinata for general cult.: bulb globose, 3/4 in. thick; neck short: fls. 1 1/2 - 2 in. long; ovary stalked; stigma 3-fid; spathe 3-fid only at tip.
