Jasminum simplicifolium, Forst. (J. lucidum, Banks. J. gracile, Andr.) Climber, or sometimes a tree in its native place, glabrous or pubescent: lvs. opposite, mostly short-stalked, shining, varying from oblong- elliptic to ovate-lanceolate to cordate-ovate, scute or obtuse, usually less than 3 in. long: fls. white, in terminal forking, many-fld. clusters; calyx-teeth short and sometimes scarcely any; corolla-tube 1/3 -1/2 in. long, the acute lobes somewhat shorter. Austral. B.M. 980. B.R. 606.summer bloomer.
