Ligustrum massalongianum, Vis. (L. longifolium, L, angustifolium, L. myrtifolium, L. rosmarinifolium and L. spicatum, Hort.). Erect shrub, to 3 ft., with warty and pilose branchlets: leaves tapering at both ends, glabrous. l 1/2 - 3 in. long: panicles much branched, many-fld., with rather small pedicelled flowers, 2 1/2 -3 1/2 in. long. July, Aug. Himalayas. — Graceful half-hardy shrub, one of the most floriferous. CH
