Cassia polyantha, Moc. & Sesse. Branches angled: lvs. about 12-paired, glabrous, spreading; lfts. petiolulate, 4 lines long, oval, mucronate: fls. paniculately sub-corymbose, 9 lines diam.; calyx-segms. broadly ovate, mucronate; petals unguiculate, obovate: pod compressed, acute at both ends, 2 in. long, 6 lines broad. Mex.—In Calif. said to be a spreading shrub blooming freely and continuously; yellow.
