Sophora macrocarpa, Smith (Edwardsia chilensis, Miers). Shrub or small tree, with the young branchlets densely tomentose: lfts. in 10-20 pairs, elliptic or obovate obtuse, silky-pubescent beneath, 3/4 - 1 in. long: fls. 3/4 - 1 in. long, in short racemes; standard as long as wings: pod terete, not winged, 1-4-seeded. Chile. L.B.C. 12:1125. B.R. 2798. CH
