Viburnum suspensum, Lindl. (V. Sandankwa, Hassk.). Evergreen shrub, attaining 6 ft., with slender warty branches: lvs. oval to oval-oblong, acute or obtusish, usually remotely crenate-serrate toward the apex, shining and dark green above, paler beneath, glabrous, 2-4 in. long: fls. white, tinged pink, in dense semi-globose panicles becoming 1 1/2 in. high; corolla 1/2 in. long, with cylindric tube twice as long as limb: fr. red, subglobose. June, July. Liu-kiu Isl. B.M. 6172.—Tender.
