Inula racemosa, Hook. f. A tall stout perennial, 1-5 ft., with a grooved st. and leathery lvs. 8-18 in. long: heads numerous, l ½ -2 in. across, showy, the outer bracts with recurved tips. Himalayas.—Little known in Amer. and perhaps not hardy.
