Grevillea banksii, known by various common names including Red silky oak, Dwarf silky oak, Banks' grevillea, Byfield waratah and, in Hawaii, Kahili flower or Kahili tree is a plant of the large genus Grevillea in the diverse family Proteaceae. Native to Queensland, it has been a popular garden plant for many years though has been superseded somewhat horticulturally by smaller and more floriferous hybrids.

Grevillea banksii, R. Br. Tall shrub or slender small tree, with branches rusty-tomentose: lvs. 4-8 in. long, pinnate or deeply pinnatifid, the segms. 3-11 and broad-linear or lanceolate, margins revolute: racemes terminal, erect and dense, 2—t in. long; fls. red, tomentose outside and glabrous inside: fr. about 1 in. long, obliquely ovate.—Offered abroad.
