Malpighia coccigera, Linn. Lvs. oval or ovate to suborbicular, obtuse, rounded or emarginate, mostly sinuate-dentate, glabrous at maturity, shining above: cymes short- peduncled; fls. pink; sepals oblong or ovate-oblong, with large glands: drupe nearly globose, red.
