Nymphaea violacea, Lehm. (incl. N. Holtzei, Rehn. & Henk. W. Rehneltiana, Henk. N. Brownii, Bailey. N. Banksii, Cunn. N. serrata, Muell. N. repanda, Muell.). Smaller: sepals marked with black lines: Lvs. wavy margined or almost entire. Cape York Peninsula.—A beautiful white form of this is called "Eleonore." A very small white one from Arnheim's Land was misnamed N. tetragona by Baron von Mueller.
