Prunus pumila var. susquehanae (Prunus cuneata, Raf. P. pumila var. cuneata, Bailey). Erect, 1-4 ft.: lvs. thin, oval, short-obovate or spatulate, strongly toothed, especially at apex: fls. larger. Bogs and cool woods and about lakes in the northern states, and in the mountains as far south as N.
