Agoseris cuspidata, Dietr. (Troximon cuspidatum, Pursh. Nothocalais cuspidata, Greene). Root thick: lvs. entire, linear-lanceolate, thickish, 4-10 in. long, the margins conspicuously white-woolly and crisped: scape about 1 ft. high: fls. yellow, about 1 – 1 1/2 in. wide: achene not beaked. Prairies of Ill. and Wis. to N. D.—Cult. easy in any good border. Not unattractive. It has rather large dandelion-like heads of fls. in late summer. May be offered by collectors. CH
