Brasso-laelia (compounded of the genera Brassavola and Laelia). Orchidaceae. Established to include hybrids between the two genera.

The following are to be found in the American trade: B. Canari (B. Digbyana x L. xanthina).—B. Digbyann-purpurata (B. Digbyana x L. purpurata).—B. fladosa (B. nodosa x L. flava).—B. Helen (B. Digbyana x L. tenebrosa). O.R. 10:169.—B. Jessopii (B. Digbyana x L.-C. xanthina).—B. Lellieuxii (B. Digbyana x L. anceps).—B. Rolfei (B. Digbyana x L. crispa). —B. Thwaitesii (B. Digbyana x L. grandiflora).—B. Veitchii (B. Digbyana x L. purpurata).—B. westfieldiensis (B. glauca x L. flava). Brassavola Digbyana, Lindl., is now considered a Laelia, so the above hybrids, under that disposition, might be designated as hybrid Laelias.
